Our mission: Security, Stability, Scalability Many poker room operators are wary of joining a large network because they are well aware that in such an environment, where they need to pool up their resources with those of their competitors', the main asset they hold - their player database - is effectively at the mercy of the network owner. DobroSoft has found a way to address this concern - a solution as elegantly simple in concept as it is complex in execution: a server architecture that ensures that each operator's database is completely independent from the network while at the same time seamlessly integrated with the backend software. While the game and lobby servers are run by the network owner and available to all operators, the database servers are hosted, and protected, by the operators themselves and no network member, not even the owner, has access to them. Ensuring smooth, uninterrupted game play is a major requirement for a network. DobroSoft has found a unique solution to this issue. The network traffic is handled by two types of servers - lobby servers and game servers. Each lobby server can support 12,000 simultaneous connections which reduced the load on the game servers. And game servers handle up tournaments as large as 7,000 players. We a currently developing a server farm concept to parallelize the server workload and further optimize traffic - expect much larger tournaments and even more exciting games soon! DobroSoft brings scalability up to a new level. Out software does not impose a cap on capacity handling. Adding new hardware to support increased traffic is seamless and effortless! With each lobby server handling 12,000 players and each game server managing tournaments of up to 7,000 participants, all that needs to be done to double capacity is just add up another server. Poker Client DobroSoft regards the development of its poker client as an on-going mission. We are working constantly to streamline our front-end software in order to produce an elegant, user-friendly, and efficient solution in line with the newest technology. Moreover, client application design - the lobby, tables, chairs, carpet, cards, and user nameplates are fully customizable. Our client has the choice to use one of our existing designs, request a new design at no extra charge (to be developed by us based on their specifications), or to use a design developed by the client and/or any other third party. DobroSoft's poker client supports a wide variety of games with some unique game options (e.g. chop, straddle, killpots), single and multi-table tournaments, private games and tournaments, freerolls. Our lobby is packed with options both for the operator and the player. Players get an excellent filtering system to allow them to easily choose between various game modes (play for fun, real money, etc.) and access table and tournament information. The lobby menus links to the cashier function to facilitate deposit and withdrawal handling for the player. The operation can make full use of the multiple promotion options integrated with the lobby - news scrolling, pop-up screens, end splash screen, tournament news boxes, etc. The poker client uses its own browser to display new windows, so that page layout and navigation are not affected by the browser settings of the player. The table interface is intuitive and offers many options for personal customization. Players can choose the skin of their table, the number of tables opened simultaneously (we are currently working on increasing the maximum to 6!), there are advanced action buttons to speed up gameplay, hot action buttons (F1, F2, etc.) very popular with experienced users, allowing them to navigate through a poker game with the keyboard mainly. We also offer a feature very useful for core games - player's notes, which allows a player to pin notes to the usernames of other players. The notes are always available when the players are at a table and various icons allow the player to emphasize the contents of the notes with visual images. Poker Server The robust architecture of our poker server allows stable gameplay and scalable software solutions. To optimize traffic we have distributed it between to types of servers - lobby servers to handle tables and game servers to handle tournaments. This solution significantly reduces the number of connections to the servers and ensures smooth, reliable gameplay. We are currently developing a unique system of distributed tournaments based on innovative technology - tournaments will be handled by server farms to parallelize the workload and allow for giant leap in capacity handling. The stability of our network is further ensured by dedicated back-up machines always ready to replace the active servers in case of hardware break-downs. Certified Quality The DobroSoft's poker card shuffling software has been certified by the accredited poker testing and certification company GGS (www.ggs-au.com). Our software utilizes sophisticated shuffling algorithms to ensure that each hand is dealt randomly, and the Rand pseudo random number generator (RNG). The Rand RNG uses a large entropy seed source to guarantee a truly random number in every aspect of the shuffle. We make sure our RNG is as complex as possible to ensure that the integrity of our software can never be questioned. Our servers are packed full of features to safeguard against any possible data tampering, such as use of the SSL protocol and password encryption. Back Office Suite DobroSoft's multi-application back office suite is perhaps the most comprehensive, feature-rich online poker administration tool out there. It has been designed with a view to maximize data security while at the same time allowing for effortless management and configuration of every aspect of the poker network. The suite consists of two applications - Independent Data Manager and Poker Back Office. The IDM manages the sensitive business data of the network operators (player lists, accounting data, etc.) and is hosted by the operators themselves. The Poker BO data - real-time table and tournament statistics, fraud and collusion reports, rake and revenues, etc. - is hosted by the network administrator on secure servers. The network administrator has access to the sensitive player information of the members only through the Poker BO where it is encrypted to ensure that it cannot be stolen or compromised in any way. The two applications are seamlessly integrated into one single browser interface and you can switch between them with one click of the mouse. Independent Data Manager The IDM allows for independent management of player accounts, franchise and affiliate programs, marketing campaigns, and includes various reporting functionalities. A powerful search engine helps you find in your database of players, affiliates, and franchises exactly what you are looking for, utilizing a huge number of search parameters. A comprehensive information screen can be opened for each player and offers a detailed overview of player status - it makes it very easy to spot problems at first glance and expose cheaters. The IDM also offers sophisticated fraud and collusion protection tools. A credit score system is in place to warn about suspicious player activity and track credit card transactions and related accounts; a negative database tool allows the operator to easily configure accessibility options, ban players by IP or country, raise warning flags on various suspicious events. Due to the dynamics of online poker and the changing demands of the market, the IDM supports a very wide variety of payment methods and new ones can be added on very short notice. Furthermore, the operators can set transaction limits for any payment method, for specific players, or group of players - and also any combination of the above - to insure against transaction fraud. DobroSoft's IDM has a large number of tools and options for franchise and affiliate management. A comprehensive User Access Rights system allows you to set up exactly which IDM functions any separate operator, franchise, or affiliate will be authorized to use. Complex affiliate rake schemes can be configured effortlessly. The structure of your whole affiliate system can be reviewed at a glance. The IDM also greatly facilitates your marketing efforts. A flexible e-mail template system can be utilized for mass mailing. A banner tracking function generates detailed reports on banner activities to easily measure the success of your online advertising. Complex marketing campaigns can be coordinated through the IDM, with the application saving you time and efforts by generating comprehensive reports on your campaign. Actually, reporting is one of the strongest aspects of our software as we understand that this is the easiest way for a company to monitor its development and measure its success - the IDM includes in-depth reports covering every aspect of the business. There are multiple dashboard reports offering you a broad overview of your performance, player conversion reports, rake reports, affiliate earnings, daily stats, and many more. Poker Back Office The Poker BO allows you to manage your poker games, tournaments, promotions, rake schemes and various other gaming configurations in real time. Creating new tables and tournaments has never been so easy with Poker BO. The operator can set up tables for all poker games supported by the network, recreating tables - if a table of a certain type is full, a new one is created automatically, so that players do not have to wait, password protected tables for VIP players, etc. Tables can be created for a particular associate only, or can be shared for the whole network. The same options are available for tournaments. While the IDM reports are more of the type of dashboard summaries, the Poker BO reports are extremely detailed, which is very convenient for fraud and collusion monitoring, and customer support activities. The various game sessions reports show full information about when and where players have played, how much they have bet/won/lost, who they have played with - an excellent tool to track customer complaints and suspicious players. The tournament reports display full history of the finished tournaments - buy-ins, wins, rewards, etc. The BO rake report displays comprehensive information about your financial performance taken from live data, so you can track your revenues at all times. The liability report allows you to monitor your financial relations with the network and see whether you need to deposit additional money to cover your players' liabilities, etc. |
